David Sladkey has been teaching for over thirty two years. Today, he shares five random but very helpful ideas with teachers everywhere. David Sladkey has taught mathematics at Naperville Central High
School in Naperville Community Unit School District #203 for the
past 25 years of his 32 years teaching. He is currently teaching
Blended Algebra 1 and Precalculus.
He has a variety of passions including student engagement, movement
in the classroom, student empowerment and technology. Outside the
classroom, he is an author, speaker, blogger, cyclist, husband,
father and proud grandpa.
David holds a B.S. in mathematics and a B.A in education from North
Park University and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction from
Northern Illinois University.
