Kelly Christopherson has taught for twenty-five years and has been helping educators use to level up their learning for most of that time. As one of the leaders on #saskedchat (Saskatoon Ed Chat on Twitter), he has seen classrooms transform and is now studying the impact of social media on classroom pedagogy. Come to the edge of research and learning as we discuss how teachers are learning. Not surprisingly, many offline techniques are still important!
I am a father of 8 amazing children. I have taught for 25 years with 10 years as a classroom teacher, 13 years as a K-12 administrator and 2 years as a sessional lecturer. I am the co-founder and moderator of #saskedchat which is a weekly Twitter chat that takes place every Thursday at 8 pm CST. I am currently a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Regina where I am researching the perceived effects of teachers' use of social media on classroom practices.
